Bob's Place is a self-catering establishment situated on the tranquil surrounds of Highfield Farm.
Bob's place is 13 kilometers from the town of Maclear (now called Nqanquarhu). From Maclear you travel for 8 kilometers on tar along the R396 towards Tsolo. You would then travel on a gravel road for a further 5 kilometers. The gravel road has sections that are rough, especially during the rainy season, but generally the condition of the road is fairly good.
Our accommodation consists of a 2 bedroom cottage and 3 separate self-catering units.
We have ensured the accommodation is as secure as possible with burglar bars, security cameras and an electric fence that surrounds the property.
Every bedroom is equipped with a TV connected to the SABC Easy View Channels and we also make sure you stay warm during winter by providing electric blankets and heaters. WiFi is also available. Each unit is also provided with tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits.
There are lovely roads on the farm ideal for self-guided walks, mountain biking or motor biking. Maclear has wonderful rivers where wild trout thrive and fishing permits can be easily arranged to fish in various rivers and dams.
